Junior Competitions – Season 2026-1 Information

Competitions will commence on Saturday, 31 January, with Grand Finals scheduled for Friday, 15 May, and Saturday, 16 May.
Please note there will be no games held over Easter, during the school holidays, or on ANZAC Day.

Important Nomination Details

  • Updated By-Laws
    Season 2026-1 introduces revised and updated competition by-laws. Please refer to the attached document [HERE] for full details.

  • Player Registration
    When entering player details, please ensure all information — particularly date of birth and email address — is entered correctly. These details are directly linked to player registration and eligibility.
    Incorrect data entry may result in players being considered unregistered, potentially impacting your team’s eligibility.
    To save time, you can use the “Copy Roster” feature in LMP to carry over your existing team list.

  • Competition Venues
    Games will be played across the following venues:

    • Comets Stadium

    • Perry Park Recreation Centre

    • Marrickville PCYC

    • Matraville Sports High School

    • And the potential for another venue

Nomination Process

All teams from Season 2025-3 wishing to compete in Season 2026-1 must submit a nomination form during the nomination period.
Nominations open to the general public on 9:00am Monday, 17 November and close at 5:00pm, Friday, 28 November. Please be aware that each age group and division has a capped number of team entries. Teams that delay submitting their nominations risk missing out on placement. Once capacity is reached, a waiting list will be established.

Age Group Eligibility for 2026

  • U10s: Players cannot be turning 10 in 2026

  • U12s: Players cannot be turning 12 in 2026

  • U14s: Players cannot be turning 14 in 2026

  • U16s: Players cannot be turning 16 in 2026

  • U18s: Players cannot be turning 18 in 2026

Please note:

  • Representative players from any association may only participate in Divisions 1 and 2.

  • Representative players are not permitted in the U10 age group.
