The City of Sydney Basketball Association proudly announces the appointment of Lachie Lonergan as its new Basketball Development Manager in a full-time capacity. Lachie, fresh off an exceptional season with the Illawarra Hawks, where he played a pivotal role as assistant coach in propelling the team to the playoffs, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.

Beginning his coaching journey at the Sydney Comets, Lachie has demonstrated remarkable leadership and coaching skills across various age groups and genders. Currently serving as the head coach of the Sydney Comets NBL1 team, Lachie has garnered respect and appreciation within the basketball community for his strategic insights and commitment to player and coach development.

In his new role as Basketball Development Manager, Lachie is poised to leverage his extensive experience to further enhance the growth and success of the City of Sydney Basketball Association both on and off the court. His passion for the game and dedication to nurturing talent makes him a tremendous asset to the association.
