It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of CSBA Life Member Rhonda Thompson, a cherished member of our basketball community. Rhonda’s enduring passion, dedication, and contributions to basketball have left an indelible mark on our association and the lives of so many within it.

Rhonda’s role within our community was extraordinary and multifaceted. She served tirelessly as a scoretable official, volunteer office administrator, court supervisor, and manager of many representative teams—always stepping in to do whatever needed to be done. Her commitment extended to serving as a CSBA Board Member and assisting on several NSW Basketball Committees for many years, showcasing her unwavering dedication to the sport at all levels.

As the mother of Megan Thompson, herself a CSBA Life Member, Rhonda’s legacy continues through the immense impact she has had on our community, both as a mentor and a source of unwavering support. Her tireless commitment to the growth and success of CSBA will always be remembered with admiration and gratitude.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Megan, son in law Sean and family during this difficult time. Rhonda’s warmth, kindness, and love for the game will forever remain in our hearts.

Rest in peace, Rhonda. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
