Job Title: Sydney Comets Representative Coordinator (Part-Time)

About Us: Join the Sydney Comets, a dynamic and historic association dedicated to developing basketball talent from the grassroots level to our premier NBL1 men’s and women’s teams. Our vibrant team is passionate about the sport and committed to providing an exceptional experience for players, coaches, parents and supporters alike.

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and organised Representative Coordinator to join our team on a part-time, 3 days per week basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering our representative programs and overseeing the operations that make them successful. You will be the linchpin connecting players, coaches, managers, and officials, ensuring smooth communication and efficient administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Administration: Oversee the administration responsibilities for CSBA representative and basketball programs, ensuring all operations run smoothly.
  • Primary Contact: Act as the main point of contact for Basketball NSW (BNSW) regarding senior and junior representative player administration.
  • Support for Managers and Coaches: Serve as the go-to person for CSBA managers and coaches for all administration-related matters.
  • Facility Management: Manage external facilities used for representative player training, ensuring they are well-maintained and available as needed.
  • Game Day Management: Coordinate and supervise game day staff for both senior and junior representative matches, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Official Communication: Liaise with referees and our Referee Development Officer to confirm availability and scheduling for the representative season.
